Jørund received his MArch from Bergen school of architecture and Universidad Politécnica de Madrid. Prior to that he finished a Bachelor of Furniture and Spatial Design/Interior Architecture from Bergen National Academy of the Arts and Camberwell College of Arts, London.

He has a varied background spanning from product design to urban scale, and a lot of hands on experiences from work in wood/metal workshop and construction sites.

Since joining NSW in 2015 Jørund has been part of multidisciplinary teams working on competitions, feasibility studies and detail design. He has followed the whole detail design and construction phase of Orkla City, a 70-meter-tall office building situated in Skøyen, Oslo.

Jørund ha a special interest for sustainability and the use of wood as construction material. To explore different subjects, he believes in the combination of hand sketches and physical models in combination with complex 3D modeling.
