Marco worked at Renzo Piano Building Workshop (RPBW) in Genoa, where he was involved in big museum projects in the USA and later in the Tjuvholmen Icon Complex in Oslo. In 2009, he moved to Norway to follow the construction phase with NSW.
While at NSW, Marco had the opportunity to work on many different projects at different scales, among which Chokoladefabrikken, a complex rehabilitation and expansion project of an old industrial block. He worked also on the office building Abels Hus in Trondheim and the housing block Hus 84 in Tjuvholmen.
Marco has followed the whole detail design and construction phase of Orkla City, a 70-meter-tall office building situated in Skøyen, Oslo.
Lately Marco has been part of the team that won the competition for the new regional parliament building in Bergen and he is following the detailing phase.
Marco has a great knowledge and experience in all the project phases, from preliminary to construction documents and inspection of the building site. He is especially interested in how new technologies can be implemented in façades and envelopes of buildings to meet increasingly demanding environmental requirements.
Marco gained his degree in Architecture at Politecnico di Milano.
