Torbjørn joined NSW in 1996 to establish a new model workshop in the firm.
The idea behind the model workshop was not only to have a model making facility in-house, but to enable the making of physical models to be an integral part of the design process.
In this way, architectural models at NSW are being used both actively to test out alternative solutions as well as producing final presentation models for client or government use.
Torbjørn’s great creative skills mean that his involvement in the design process is twofold; both as a valuable design critic and a creator of physical results. The models range from small jewel like pieces to large sections in full scale.
